The brand-new Pump Track at Horam Village Hall & Recreation Ground is now open — offering an exciting and inclusive space for riders of all ages and abilities to get active, build confidence, and enjoy the outdoors.
A pump track is a continuous circuit of banked turns, rollers, and jumps designed to be ridden without pedalling — using body movement and momentum to “pump” through the course. It’s suitable for bikes, scooters, skateboards, and even balance bikes, making it a fun, safe, and social activity for the whole community.
This project has been a fantastic community effort, led by Horam Village Hall & Recreation Ground trustees with support from Pro-Eco Ltd and Hailsham Active. As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting accessible sport and activity across the area, Hailsham Active contributed £5,000 in match funding to help unlock a £50,000 grant from the Veolia Environmental Trust, making the project possible.
We’re proud to have supported the development of this brilliant new facility, which provides another valuable way for people to enjoy being active in a welcoming and safe environment.
The Horam Pump Track is now open to the public — come along and give it a go!
